For the 2013 edition, we are inviting press and industry professionals to complete the first stage of the application process online, using the links below. Please note that submitting an online application does not guarantee accreditation with the festival in 2013. Applications are assessed according to your professional track record and our capacity. We reserve the right not to approve every application that we receive, and cannot guarantee the processing of applications received after 25th, October, 2013.
Attaching Your Picture
In regard to issuing your ID Pass, you are required to attach a picture of your face. Before filling out the application form, please read the following guidelines and have your picture ready.
 - You need a file of your picture taken by a digital camera, a mobile phone camera or any other camera with the size of 640x480.
* File format must be JPEG. The name of the file should end with ".jpg".
* Size of your picture needs to be approximately 640(h) x 480(w).
* File size should be less than 500kB. A file that is bigger than 1MB is not acceptable.

- The picture should be full face, from the shoulder to the top of head, and front view which is taken within last three months.
- The picture you provide is only used to issue your ID Pass, and we don't use it for any other purpose. Even if you provided your picture at the previous editions, please attach a picture this year again.

If your application is approved, we will send you a confirmation e-mail or fax.
Applying for Press Accreditation
To apply for Press Pass, sample clips (or discs, tapes, links, etc.) of your TOKYO FILMeX coverage are required as part of the 2013 application process. If you are new to TOKYO FILMeX, please provide two recent film or arts stories published or produced by you during the past year. These must show the media organization, your byline and date.
The deadline for Press Accreditation for TOKYO FILMeX 2013 is 24th, October, 2013.

Confirmation of your application and delivery of your pass
We will notify all applicants via email of their status by early November. Once your application is confirmed, you can collect your pass from the ID counter at the Yurakucho Asahi Hall during the festival.
Notes
- The deadline for Accreditation is 24th, October, 2013. The Festival cannot guarantee accreditation for applications received after the deadline date.
- The Festival reserves the right to approve or deny any accreditation.
- Upon request from the rights-holder of a selected film, the Festival may provide the rights-holder with the name and the job title of the accredited attendees at the screening of the film at the Festival.
