About FILMeX

If you wish to apply for a TOKYO FILMeX ID pass accreditation, please complete the application form via the link at the bottom of this page.

Holding an ID pass grants you access to screenings at the main venue (please note that certain screenings may be excluded. Specific details will be provided when your pass is issued).
Access to the networking lounge (opening hours and details will be provided when your pass is issued).

GENERAL

For professionals in the film industry, such as productions, distribution, exhibition, festivals, and film organisations.

*Please note that application fee is required for GENERAL Pass applications (3,300 JPY).
*Those who have received a notification of approval for a GENERAL pass are requested to pay the application fee by around 1st November.

※The category of ID pass will depend on your business work etc.
※Based on the review results, we may offer a different pass category that the one you requested.

Please note that after receiving your application, the festival will review it and issue an ID pass.
Due to the limited availability of passes, we may have to decline your application in accordance with the festival regulations. Thank you for your understanding.
Details regarding the use of ID passes and eligible screening programs will be provided after the issuance decision has been made.
Please note that the general audience may be prioritized for admission to screenings.

Those whose ID registrations have been completed will be notified via email around 25th October. If your application is unsuccessful, you will also be notified around the same time.
Those who have received a notification of approval for a GENERAL pass are requested to pay the application fee by 1st November.
The issuance of an ID pass number will serve as confirmation of your ID pass. Please note that there will be no physical card-type ID pass distributed at the venue (except in exceptional cases).
