(1) TOKYO FILMeX Competition : 10 films
A competitive section of new films by emerging Asian filmmakers.

(2) Special Screenings : 12 films
New films by prominent filmmakers from around the world.

(3) Special Program
Golden Classics 1950s: 14 films during the festival
(25 films during the whole period of the program )
Amos GITAI: The Spirit of Exile: 3 films during the festival
(The program is a part of the "Amos Gitai: The Spirit of Exile," co-presented by L' Institut Franco-Japonais de Tokyo, Athénée Français Cultural Center and TOKYO FILMeX)

(4) Symposium
Panel discussions with distinguished critics, festival directors, producers, and filmmakers from Japan and the international community.
