[Introduction]
GITAI's second film is a story about two women, German Expressionist poet Else Lasker-Schuler and Russian born revolutionary Mania Schohat (or Tania during the film), set in 1930s Berlin and Jerusalem. Screened in competition at the Venice Film Festival, and awarded the Special Jury Prize at the International Istanbul Film Festival.
